As brand originators, the magic begins when strategy and concept come together to produce an iconic, impactful visual identity - frequently manifested in a well-executed logo design! That usually happens when a designer and strategist work together with the client (thankfully, we generally have all three…) to define and meet objectives as they go. At Engage Brandcraft, the end goal is usually to produce a simple, easy to recognise and engaging symbol that encompasses the brand paradox and gives a sense of its ethos and what sets it apart. It is also critical that the design style is forward thinking and that it will be able to stand the test of time. Finally it needs to resonate with the target audience. Wherever possible, we try to smash boring clichés and needless standards, creating category-changing logo design that is as eye-catching as it is appealing. It's about more-than-meets-the-eye design. Click on the various logo options below for a proud brief introduction to some of our favourite logos to date

Our approach always incorporates a strategic look at competitors to identify the "visual gap". We also start the custom logo design process by carefully crafting a set of useful parameters and objectives (including brand attributes and values) – the perfect platform for an appropriate brand personality. These become departure points for the corporate logo design and filter into every visual and tonal choice moving forward. Once the brand guidelines are set, it translates into a style guide… a reference for future design and communication work.

A company logo is often its "first-impression", so it's really critical that it's well executed, appealing and, above all, that it has a point. It must also allow scope for future business growth and development. Forward-thinking design pre-empts rather than retrofits. We like to take note of design trends, but we don't follow design fads. There is a difference!
