Every brief that crosses the Engage Brandcraft threshold (whether it be a logo, web design or a comprehensive brand strategy) is met with passion and enthusiasm – the basis for the kind of blue-sky thinking that, once contained, provides for the best results. Engage Brandcraft does however have a soft spot for packaging – incidentally an area where quality custom design is often hard to find. As a brand origination firm, we love taking flat 2D artworks (like corporate identities and bringing them to life as 3D (master) pieces. Our goal here is to get attention and create talkability whilst still applying pragmatism and common sense to the equation. The result we are looking for: practical, effective packaging that users love and clients can be proud of, for years to come. Our packaging work promotes valuable consumer interaction. It's an opportunity to place our clients' brands in the homes and environment of its audience and integrate it with their lives - a responsibility we relish. Here are some of our personal favourites.
First prize for us is definitely being able to design packaging as part of an initial brand identity rollout. This enables us to apply strategic and conceptual thinking right from the start, from custom logo design to custom packaging design. But as it goes in the world of branding, we are sometimes tasked with a packaging brief that relies on an existing corporate identity. The challenge then is to respect the brand parameters while also creating a new and engaging touchpoint. One such example (as you will see in our portfolio) is the packaging design we did for skincare experts, Environ.
On the other side of the spectrum is our Babaderm range of products (also in our portfolio for your perusal), which spearheaded extensive mother-brand and subsequent sub-brand development. Either way, we aim to meet and exceed packaging expectations with innovative custom packaging design.
